Anyway, every night that we came into our room on the cruise, we had a new animal that visited us. Lisa was brave enough to take pictures with each one of em.

The animals of the cruise...
I apologize how unorganized these last two posts are, but it is the only way I know how to put all these pics up on this blog. I'm sure Jon could make it look all pretty but, oh well.

Which Stone is Next?

So now what? I came back to my room yesterday after class and was a bit puzzled. Normally, I would check my email about 20 times to make sure I had the right time for practice and I would sit on my computer nervously staring at the clock until I had to leave for practice, which was an hour or so before practice began. But yesterday was different, I didn't have an email to check. I had no one telling me what I needed to do (except for Lisa). I, for once, had no coach in the back of my mind to worry about. I didn't need to go to the weightroom to worry about next year and how I need to get bigger and stronger. For once, in the cafeteria, I drank milk that wasn't whole milk! It's a lifestyle I may like getting use to, but it won't last. The coaches will get replaced with bosses. The sitting around in my room will be replaced with sitting in my cubicle. For now, I'm going to enjoy my senior year and not worry too much about the next activity that will consume my life!

TV game

My last home basketball game of my career. Its pretty weird! I'm glad that my family will have the opportunity to watch it...just not live. Its being televised on SportSouth on Sunday at 2pm EASTERN time. It was previously called Turner South, but have recently changed their name. I know the channel is shown on DirecTV, but I'm sure you can also see it on other dish networks. Hopefully, we can turn things around on Sunday and have a head start going into the tournament.

On a Roll
A great weekend for our bball team. We had two straight conference wins, which puts us at second to last in the conference! We're now 3-9, with 6 games left. The picture on the right is a so-called offensive foul on me, what do you think!?!? Ok...so I pretty much ran the guy over, but oh well...we won! This weekend we head up to Appalachian State who are one of the top teams in the conference. We then head to the coast and play The Citadel, who we are fighting with to get out of the bottom of the conference.

Snow in the South
I woke up this morning with a white surprise, and no it wasn't in my bed. Opening up the blinds, it was nice to finally see snow! There was no more than an inch of slushy snow and our morning shoot around was canceled. The town is practically shut down. All schools in the area are closed, as well as doctors' offices. I had treatment this morning and it was a hassle getting into the building because no one was around to unlock the doors. I hope everyone enjoys the snow around here and stay safe.

Friday Night

Nothing is better than a Friday night alone in your room. Not that I have no friends (I have two), but practice in the morning kinda dampers the night. I plan on watching some bball and possibly catching up on some sleep. I'll probably update my iTunes too because last night I some how deleted every song from my library, including playlists. Checking with my iPod, I'm missing over 100 songs. Its crazy how easy it is to wipe iTunes clean!
On another note, I hope Lisa makes it back in one piece tonight. A big party on campus, "Around The World", is making its annual appearance. A select amount of rooms decorate to a theme and serve drinks and snacks accordingly. Pour exemple, a room would serve wine and cheese. Another room would serve margaritas and salsa and the hosts would be wearing sombraros. An excuse to get wasted in many different ways!
(The picture was taken from last years party when visiting "Mexico". They are enjoying a taste of lime!)Hope everyone has a great weekend! Shellie and Jon, enjoy the Wii!!!

Digital Darkroom

All January I've been taking pictures and playing with them on the computer. I never realized how much I can do with a personal digital camera and a laptop. I think Lisa is definitely getting annoyed with me taking too many pictures and spending too much time on my computer. The teacher has a website where he posts our assignments, its nothing speacial, but he has all of our pictures. He's pretty good at keeping it updated, we've finished 4 assignments so far. Hope everyone's January is going well.

UFO

A sighting has been made on Wofford College's campus. Like most other sightings, it was a GLIMPSE of an unidentified object. Around 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Lisa heard some rustling in her room which woke her up. Seconds later, she saw the shadow of what was described as a mini flying squirrel skying across her window. I had the privilege to turn her room upside down today looking for some living creature. Luckily, on my part, nothing was found. Unfortunately, this leaves Lisa with the uncomfortable feeling that something may still be in her room. Like all sightings, nothing can be confirmed nor denied. The world may never know...

Oh What 2007 Will Bring

I apologize for those who have been sitting on the edge of their leather computer chairs waiting for me to update my blog. Since Christmas, things have been kinda busy, moving from here to there, dorm to hotel, hotel to home, home to hotel, and then finally hotel to dorm. Its weird saying this, but I missed my dorm room!
Now that I'm back and have a week of classes under my belt, I'm beginning to realize that 2007 is going to bring a lot of change in my life. Not only is my college life going to be over, I'm going to have to get a REAL job and start paying for everything, like gas, food, and rent!
But I'll worry about that stuff later...

I'm an Uncle

So today is my parents' wedding anniversary, but everyone seemed to forget that today. More importantly, Chloe Grace came to this world. Unfortunately, everyone back home is about 10 years behind on technology, so at this moment there are no pictures, but I will get them up as soon as I can. Congratulations Amy and Mom & Dad.

The Grind...

It has been FOREVER since I've had some free time to waste on this blog. Basketball has been a little rough as of late. We're 4-5, with losses to NC ST, UNCG, Western Carolina, JMU, and the latest, Michigan. An embarassing loss today, ended what would have been a pretty fun trip. I had a good time at the Pistons/Knicks game and hanging out with the Piston Girls. Seeing snow for the first time in about a year and a half was nice. Unfortunately, the snow kept me away from my sisters, who were willing to drive all the way to Michigan to watch us. Also, a couple assistant coaches from HS were blocked from coming to Michigan by the big storm.
On a high note, one more week of classes. I get to come home in 19 days!!! Nothing like going back home for the holidays!
