St. Patty's Day Parade

Nothing better than spending St. Patrick's Day in Dublin. I have never seen so many people at a parade. It was a little better than Hoo Doo Days!

An Irish Jig

Rain or Shine, this man was trying to make some coin. He was the typical drunk, dirty old man...and making wise cracks at the people who walked by. Only problem though, no one could understand his gibberish.

Day 3...I promise

So here it is...I know you've all been waiting for the unveiling of the puzzle! The reason it took so long for me to get a picture was that I needed to clean off the table. The puzzle served as a place mat in a way...I had some dishes sitting on top of it, haha.

I was out doing some shopping and came across a puzzle. I guess I would call myself an impulse buyer...1 hour later I'm at my dinner table flipping over a pile of multi-colored pieces of cardboard. I'm going to keep every one updated on the daily progress. Guesses of what the puzzle will become is encouraged! (hopefully this will get me back to doing daily posts)

I was going through my camera, and almost forgot that I had taken pre-surgery pictures of my foot, so I decided to compare then and now. Sorry that you have to look at my gross feet. Notice the outside of my foot and the inner ankle, the large bumps are gone!

Saturday...

I've been laying pretty low this week. Lisa is home for a couple weeks before classes start and I've been battling the damn heat down hear. I've mostly been hanging out in our hole of an apartment if I'm not working. It's amazing how addicting YouTube can be. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Saturday Afternoon

After two straight weekends of working, I finally get one off! So what am I doing today? We just got back from Quizno's where we used a BOGO coupon and now I'm playing around on Pure Volume. PV is a great place to find great music with free downloads. I seem to never get enough of it. Long live the garage bands!

Welcome to the South

This week has been my first true "Southern Summer". Tomorrow the heat index is pushing 110! This whole week has been hovering around 100 and we're going to get a break this weekend at 95. Amazingly, we only use our A/C at night. Being in the basement of an apartment complex has its advantages. Unfortunately, I can't avoid the heat while I'm washing cars. My white shirts are changing colors...quickly.

New Web Album

I'm trying to move out of facebook and into a new site to post my pictures. This is pretty much trial and error, but I'm trying to avoid paying any money on web albums. Flickr doesn't allow you to organize you're pics beyond 3 groups unless you pay, so we'll see how this works. Oscar the Cat

I don't know if you guys have heard about this yet, but it's kinda creepy. A cat named Oscar resides in a nursing home in Rhode Island. He makes the rounds around the home and visits only a select few in the home. These not so lucky patients die within hours of Oscar's visit. Oscar seems to have the ability to sense death. Oscar has been very consistent and has been spotted 25 different times in individuals rooms who die within hours of his visit. Take a look at this link to better understand these bizarre happenings.

Bon Appetit

Tonight, Lisa and I whipped up Italian Turkey Burgers. First time with a turkey patty, but it wasn't too bad. Tasted like chicken and was somewhat dry without the spaghetti sauce, but I would definitely cook them again-very flavorful. The bread made the dinner, freshly baked focaccia (from the deli). Don't be jealous of my mad cooking skills, I was born with them. 2 out of 3 kids isn't bad, my parents should be proud.

I'm alive!

Sorry! It's been a crazy couple months since my last post, but I've survived. Since my last post, I earned a BA and I have a job. I spend all of my days at Enterprise and my nights slaving away in the kitchen. I feel like I'm writing a want-ad in a dating column, and NO Jon, it wouldn't be a gay column. Anyway, I plan to get back into blogging for the three or so people who check it out.

The animals of the cruise...

I apologize how unorganized these last two posts are, but it is the only way I know how to put all these pics up on this blog. I'm sure Jon could make it look all pretty but, oh well.

Anyway, every night that we came into our room on the cruise, we had a new animal that visited us. Lisa was brave enough to take pictures with each one of em.

Its hard to put into words how much fun I had...I'll let the pics explain it!
